Capcom has officially announced that Pragmata, its mysterious project for PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, has been delayed into 2023. The relationship between the two main characters has been compared to that of Sam Bridge, the protagonist of Death Stranding, and his Baby Bridge.A little over a year ago, Sony unveiled the PlayStation 5 during an online conference. The nature of the trailer is enigmatic and cryptic, something that characterized the Death Stranding trailers prior to its release. Many mistook this character for Ludens, who is the official mascot of Kojima Productions. During the first seconds of the launch trailer, the main character is shown walking through the unpopulated streets.Since the moment of its revelation, Pragmata has been compared to Death Stranding for several reasons that are cited below: During the announcement trailer in June 2020, it was stated to be in development for release in 2022, but in a tweet from Pragmata and Capcom in November 2021 the studio said, "Our team is hard at work on the project, but to ensure this will be an unforgettable adventure, we've decided to shift the release window to 2023." Reception Comparison with Death Stranding Pragmata does not yet have a confirmed release date, but it does have a 2023 release window. Capcom revealed that the project is being fronted by "newly hired young employees," and it believes that "incorporating the youthful sensibilities of digital natives adds a new appeal to the intellectual property." Pragmata was originally unveiled on June 11, 2020, during Sony's PlayStation 5 reveal stream. Pragmata is being led by Capcom, the creators of Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, Monster Hunter, and among others as the company's first original franchise in eight years.
